Help! Step into Digi's. Recommendations?

No brand wars. Solid remarks would be great. Looking to step into some digi servo's, just from the info from Frye and Kitman...

I'm no 'Giant' yet, but I fly a Modeltech twister and hopefully a UCANDO46 will show up for xmas.

Anyone have a good recommendation? Will the new HS5475HB's be enough? Also, I run 6V (2350 nimh)

Thanks in advance!

Just remember HULA, get the best servos you can... that way when you step into a bigger plane the servos can follow you and you don't need to BUY again.

From personal experience....the 5475's are great servo's in that application. I had my Ucando .46 built with those with a ton of very hard flights on it. After I sold it I put them into a Showtime 4D. That also gets flown quite hard. They show no sign of slop or wear and tear on them. They easily have over 200 flights on them. I say go for it....they are a great servo for their price.

Only way I'm stepping into a 'bigger' plane is if you leave one at the field.

Or Freddie's Sponsers me for something

5925 hitecs are stoopidly fast. . . have 110+ ounces of torque, and are THE thing for small 3D planes like the Ucan's. My 2cw

Hah. Big Computer guy, with big bills. I'm certainly not getting paid like all those techskills commercials you here about.

But, almost 6 years on the job does have its benefits

Get the best you can afford. I am partial to JR. But I can say that Futaba has good servos as well. I've had issues with the Hitec servos in the past. I would run either JR or Futaba, personally.

Good luck with the decision!!!
