Default Peak model?

Anyone know anything about them? They've got a few 70" planes with a 26cc engine combo for $500 that actually look pretty nice.

JeeUm, planes look cool, but that 26cc motor is the same motor I have, and its marginal at best.

Planes look sweet though, In fact they have the velox or what ever it is for like $50 cheaper then the original guys who were selling it.

But I don't know... I'm not going to be the Guinea pig this time!

I was wodering about that also. I mean for $500 its a risky investment but that is one hell of a deal if its a good plane and motor. Id have to fly one and see that motor in perosn to be the judge of that and the ngo and buy one. come-on Sleepy..buy the plane and tell us what you think of it.

Guys the motor is a DOG... I'm warning you.
Its light, and 26cc's but it SUCKS.
I have one... had it since march.
Was going to put it into a 73" qq yak....
decided against it... It might be OK in a funtana,
but still I bet performance would be margional!
Planes look GOOD.. motor I would avoid!
My 2 cents!

In fact if anyone wants to try the motor, you can have mine for $200 shipped!

Ok even better! Buy it from guys in the US, or at least surrounding areas!

But wasn't it like $279 or something a little while back?
I know I saw that price somewhere!

It's worth noting that Peak Model, although registered in NZ, is a box-drop outfit who ship straight from China.

I've bought a fair bit of stuff from them (DL50, JR9XII, props, spinners, a Katana EP, etc) and so have several guys in our club. They seem to do a good job at delivering decent products for reasonable prices.
