Adrenaline!! I was crossing the street one day at an intersection and this guy in a cable truck accidentally ran the red light at 50+ mph... right into the side of a car crossing w/ two people in it. This guy wasn't wearing his seat belt and was ejected through the windshield about 30' into the grass after impact. I swear I'll *never* forget seeing that... it's totally burned into my brain -- him going right through and literally flying until impact. He wasn't on the grass more than 5 seconds before he popped up and was wallking around for several minutes or more (lost and confused) before dropping like a stone and passing out for a few min. Long story short both passengers in the car he hit didn't make it (they were elderly), but he literally almost walked away from it.

Scary stuff... I hope to never witness something like that again. It's like it almost happens in slow motion. You can just see it clear as day over and over again.
