Default EVO 150?

Just curious if anyone in the states has run one of these yet? I havent heard anything more about them, and would think that the sale with them someone surely would have tried one out.

Was trying to get some honest feedback on those engines. Not everyone is dead set on flying a DA engine, I didnt drink the koolaid when I got into giant scale lol. FYI there is a ZDZ Super 160 and not a 3W or DA on the front of my Dalton

Hi Flyinrazrback:

I´m Jose M. García from EVO engines. Here in Europe we have a lot of pilots flying with our engines. What I can say is that all our engines are very smooth and built with the highest quality. The 150 Sport runs very smooth but the power is a little bit less than a DA 150 but the 150 Competition is the most powerfull engine in the market. You can see our gallery --> www.evo-engines.com where we show some pictures from pilots and customers.

Regards

Hi This is Roger of Forgues-Research and North American importer of the EVO line of engnes.

I just came back from Chattanooga Tenessee where the EAC was held. I am pleased to announce that you will get more feed back on the 150 as Jack Estes, is officially sponsored and will tell you a lot abou this engine. and the other engines as well.

I saw him fly this week end, and I was blown away by the quality and precision this young kid of 19 can do. He will be a great asset to us all as he has the personality to go with it.

So hang in there, were are getting in the field.

As for "bryan01601" comments, have you seen up close up comparision to make those statements,???

Roger

bryan was only giving me a hard time because I am a 3W fan. However, since no engine mfg gives me anything, I like to explore my options, and thats why I was curious about the EVOs. EnginesEVO, what exhausts (cannister I presume) are guys running on their 150s?

With that being said, lets keep it civil and learn some more about these relatively new engines.

Lookin forward to hearing some numbers and feedback from Jack.

I have only seen one to date, the 150 competition, and it looked like a top-quality machine. Clean milling and casting, and very well engineered. I'm seriously considering outfitting next years primary bird with one of these motors. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers Jack comes back with.
