Default QQ 73" Yak and Moki 135????

Would the Moki have enough grunt to hang this plane??
it's around 26cc so should be on par with QQ's evo report...

Moki is better company than evolution, that's for sure. I had glow engines of both companies, and Moki made much better impression (better quality/performance). Im not sure about 135 gas version, i don't have one..., but im pretty sure it have more power and is better than evo gassers. Other question is weight...?

Maybe someone that use these engines can give better advices..

What is price difference?

well i had a funtana 90 and due to PCM lockout she bit the dust so on eis in search of another model quickly for a show!!! im getting the 85" delivered to me this weeka nd thought about the 73 to use the Moki 135 glow from the funtana, good power, lightweight and on a pitts exhaust(if that makes a difference)

thanks

You're talking about the Moki 135 2-stroke glow, right?

It should work fine, if that's the motor you already have, but if I needed to buy a 2-stroke motor for it, I would think about the OS 160.

I posted before I saw your second post, try the Moki, it will have more power than the Evo gas.

Makes for a bad day!!

If you're going to use the rest of the gear, make sure you find out what caused the failsafe condition, which I'm sure you will.

Hi There,

I'd like to recommend the OS 1.6. Moki 1.35 will be fine and better than 26cc gas but for optimal performance maybe a Moki 1.5 (I think they have 1.5) but I'm not quite sure! Anyway unless you have one laying around I would recommend a little more powerful engine.

Thank you,
Reza

Guys,

Please don't make comparison between the companies on Quique's Aircraft Support forum. I draw a fine line when it gets to this kind of situation. I have been trying to avoid making comparison between our aircrafts and other companies as well. You are more than welcome to express your feelings about one company and another if it's not under Quqiue's Aircraft Forum. I appreciate your understanding on this matter.

Sorry,

I love QQ models and am not going for any other, just i need a plane lol and this motor fits.....

If it has enough power and more than the 26 gasser it should be ok for hangning and harriers for now only for a weekend then i'll change to a petrol.....

I just bought the QQ 73" Yak. I am going to put an OS 1.60 in my plane. I have an OS 1.60 in my Hanger 9 edge 540 and love it. Never had any problems with the engine.

Not sure what comparison you are referring to.
