Anybody here know Mike Stroup ? I heard he made some comments about my favorite sport, Giant Scale Racing...I would like to read the post to make appropriate comments...
Thanks, Ralph Cunningham, RC Ignition, Giant Scale racing engine inspector and flight line official..

That's how I know that name! Didn't you fly a stilletto? I called for Tom Easterday and Carl Lindou at Madera back in the mid-90's. If I remember correctly, you were pretty fast...

Nope, just inspected about 65 G62s before the races..Called for JR Wilbur, had the first T6 race in the bag until the Kevlar pul pull elevators loosened and the plane crashed..Called for Duke Crow, Won the Silver in Unlimited...
Without Tom Easterday Giant Scale racing would probably be a thing of the past, he is one of the major sponsors.
Carl was Bob McClung's pilot, don't know where he is now...
One if my Sachs 5.8s was in the yellow P63 that midaired the start finish pole at the first Madera before they moved it, made the front page of the Madera paper..
Ahh, memories....

Maybe it's Bill cuningham that flew the stilletto...
Yep, flew for Tom on his airshow team, but he had a passion for racing and wanted to focus on it. He definitely takes it serious.

Not to mention one hell of a guy...

I have a great interview with him and his team (and Jake from team speed Demons) I have to post... just had a crazy week of work...

Let me just say... I've been attending the Ohio race for the last 4 years.. and all 4 years.. I have never met anyone that was racing or involved with a team that wasn't a First Class ambassador of the hobby, and just GOOD people!

Keep it up fellas.. the racing scene is AMAZING!
