| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | I have modified some 3D planes of Real Flight G3 simulator in this way: if chord at tip was 20" and chord at root was 30" I made chord at tip 30" and chord at root 20". ALL THE PLANES FLY MUCH BETTER AT LOW SPEED AND IN 3D MANOEUVERS I CAN DO. Shape of these planes may look strange and a structural nonsense BUT THE PLANES FLY MUCH BETTER FOR 3D. Structural problems however don't exist in these little planes. If you have AeroFly Pro, could you modify any 3D planes according to my idea? Do the planes fly better with this simulator too? | E-Flight Pimp ![]() | I just tried it out with AFPD... I couldnt find a way to adjust the root and tip chords in teh model editor. Someone who knows about the model files themselves might be able to help you. But it sure must look funky. Pics! |

| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | I've always heard AFPD is better than Real Flight, but instead things don't stay that way. Is it so difficult to change chords at tip and root in AFPD? In G3 you can do it in some seconds. bigbrain |

| Thanks for the Support! ![]() | NAHHHH it won't... You guys know us... skip the poop or it gets locked... we don't need the poo here. Back to the dudes wing shape theory or don't post. The G3 - AFPD battle is OLD. Do what I do own both, and when the H9 one comes out I'll get that too, that way you can try EVERYTHING and have 100% fun! ![]()

| 100% EDGE Builder ![]() | Give it a try and see what happens. I personally think it is going to make for a very slow roll rate. It will also be inneficient. An elipse is normally the most efficient planform. That is why wings are normally tapered, it is the easiest way to come somewhat close to an elipse. Let us know how it works out. Dan |
