WOW!!!! I can't beleive it! Where did you get that photo? That was me and the fellas at the Oberstdorf (outdoor) Allgau (all good) Championship. Man there's just nothing in the world like leaping into the air with a SWEET sequin suit. The experience of scating is what got me hooked on airplanes! I'm the guy on the far right, notice how I got ALL the stuffed animals? Like Dick Burton says during his comentary " WOW !! Biff is REALLY playing to the crowd! They LOVE him! Look at the footwork, look at the extension, look at the way he works the crowd. I've not seen better since Scotty Hamilton!"

I had to stop competitive figure scating because I simply couldn't take the politics. I made a change from Bauer skates to Custom foot Ginsoo's and BOY what turmoil! Stuff like "Biff only changed for money" or " WOW Bauer got Biff where he is and now he's dumping them?" or "Bauer actually FIRED Biff." The brand war in skating REALLY bites.

I now skate just for the beauty of the sport. I was actually working on a quad flying dervish just before I retired. I'm being pressured from SKATING TODAY network to complete the jump. Just not sure if I'm ready.

3D flight is cool, but if you want a REAL adrenalin rush, try walking from your 4 wheel drive pick up to the practice rink with your competition sequin skate frock on in South Carolina!!!

By the way, that's Matt Chapman in the white frock sitting next to me. He was the first to use the full hand sleeve! Ever seen his flying suit? YOU'RE LOOKING AT IT! He just dyed it yellow (These babies are EXPENSIVE!)

I heard that Robert VESS was designing a new skate blade that does not have a constant chord, but instead has 100's and 100's of small air foils that act as blades, it actually gives you MORE thrust per pump per skate, as well as exceptional lift for jumps.

I think Biff was working on this with him.. if he cares to comment.

SLEEPY!!!!! This is top secret stuff! Okay, as the cat's out of the drier, I have been working with Mr. Vess on some cutting edge equipment. Not only do we have a new blade design, but we have a super slippery new sequin suit and and new hair jell with a potential flow that's off the charts! The new equipment has given me UNREAL speed!
As a matter of fact, the first trial leap I did with the totally new gear sent me crashing into the plexi glass safety barrier! Believe it or not, I set a new speed skating WORLD RECORD in the 5,000 meter catagory with a single push off at the start! NO SKATING AT ALL! 94.9805 MPH AVERAGE!!
Thanks Sleepy for stealing Skater Weekly's scoop!
