WOW! Thats cool.
Could you imagine trying to fly that wile standing up.
I want one of those on my Compy SX.
Maybe I could fly a straight line then.

A friend sent that to me this morning. I was thinking this would be really cool for a model version of the Red Bull Air Racing.

Found this comment on one of the blogs on this.

"That plane mounted camera is the only way you will ever see a woman again after putting on a VR helmet with wireless and a gyroscope. Might as well put on a Nintendo PowerGlove and complete the look."

I saw it over on RCU in the giant scale forum and the guy said it cost around $2000. Plus he had to build it himself.

That sounds a little steep to me, I have been looking around at almost every wireless video camera on the web but then again, who knows how much those goggles are?

Its funny when you think about the multi hundred $ spent on the camera and transmitter and servo setup in the plane when the rest of the airplane is like a $80 piece of foam.

I thought the same thing but I guess it doesn't really matter when you are not looking at the plane anyway.
