Default do you think i should get reflex?

Hi,
just started flying heli...want to brush up my skills...i've got G3 and AFPD. Oh, btw...you may want to get the usb from www.rcusbsimulator.com ... it works damn perfect with all my sims. Do you think i should invest in reflex..heard it's not that fantastic...

i think it's the best for helis but not good for planes at all. i think if you have afpd you should be ok to learn how to fly helis.

stick with G3 for your helis... youve got a pretty good sim for helis with that one.

Are you referring to Reflex?? I've flown G3 and Reflex (own Reflex) and I prefer Reflex. I fly planes, not helis, but the simulation in Reflex seems to be more realistic, while G3 seems to make flying too easy. My son has flown those a LOT, and has also had a chance to fly FS1, and he really liked FS1.

I am speaking from the perspective of an airplane flyer when I say this, but if you have the computing horsepower necessary for FS1, then I would seriously consider that. If not, take a look at Reflex. I'm running it on a computer that does not have the necessary power to run G3 (I have the integrated Intel video chipset). I believe if you go to the Reflex website, you can download a demo that will let you know if you have enough computer to run it.

If I already had AFPD and G3, I don't think I would buy another sim unless I just wanted to.

JMHO.

I also have reflex, and i prefer it over G3 for one reason. G3 makes everything seem so easy. If you fly a real rc helicopter and G3, you'll see the difference. But on the other hand, G3 has a lot of good featuers too. Reflex has the model editor, torque roll training, and hover for helis. Besides, i think reflex has better grapchics

Just stick with G3 and AFPD. If you practice hard on them, you'll be a good pilot. There's no real reason to own three sims IMO.
