Yup, you read right. I was thinking that I needed a new stick plane, and that I nwanted to do something really nice... So then the idea came up. An Extra 260 stick plane would be really nice! Why not do a Dalton? I printed out some 3 views and scaled up my "plans". Printed them out, put wax paper on them and got to scratch building! Here are some pics of tonight's progress: 1: Plans laid out. 2: Joining stringers 3: Formers are glued 4: Top stringers glued. 5: Turtledeck done 6: Hatch done 7: Rudder glued and cowling detail done. That finishes the fuse and tonights work. I'll do the wings and stabs tomorrow so I can start covering!! Hope you guys like it! Vic

Tony, its 9 inches long. I don't have an AUW yet.  I hope to use thin plastic and hot-shape it into place. YES, I am going to cover it.
