seriosly i would not even go to that site again... My dad bought a cessna 182 from them and it was a piece of junk! The building was horrible, and flying it sucked.

Aside from the plastic add on parts, the rest of the pictures look fine. What do you want for a 92.5" ARF for $250.00?

Take it easy Tony...

How much do you expect to get for this amount of money? Your dad bought one plane and wasn't happy, does that make all of their stuff junk?

You have every right not to go to their site, your choice...

Bahamadude,

Thanks for bringing that plane and site to our attention, if I bought it I would probably work the trim parts to fit more realistic, but I wouldn't be ashamed to own it.

Always the same, if someone posts something about Nitro models, CMP or the “other” cheap ones the argue starts right away.

1. Cheap – cheap and cheap…Buying – building and boxing in the trash can.
2. What do you expect for that money?

Here is my opinion:
Sure you can’t expect much for cheap – but they find guys who are willing to sacrifice time and money to write on their “experience page” BIN THERE DONE THAT.

CMP got me twice – first plane (P40 1.40) went down, OK could be me – try it again. Triple checked everything, then second flight she just rolled over in the landing approach.
Same plane same config.

Besides the horrible build – absolutely no customer support. The statement they fly crappy is just a fact, if some guys like it or not.

For me NO MORE cheapos! The money what you save goes in your time and stress. I’ve build many ARF’s and I gave them a shot…nice try but no cigar.

I like to have an airplane which I can trust, this hobby is pretty relaxing (exept maiden flights) and it is no money worth to leave the field ticked off. So far I’ve seen more Pilots leaving the field ticked off with crashed cheapos- then Pilots with well known brand names.

Thumps up for the guys who keep theirs in the air…

Happy landings

G-Pete
