Default Sluuuurp!

For those of you techies out there who wonder how much bandwidth is required to run a site like this, check it... I just took this sample off of one of our web servers. We've been averaging 45 megabits/sec for the past few days with sustained spikes to 75megabits! Wow! If the site becomes sluggish at times, this is obviously why, but we're hangin' pretty good!! Thought you guys would like the pic below.. Enjoy! MD

To give you guys an idea of what kind of bandwidth usage that is... I work for a ISP that hosts about 8,000 active domains (websites). We typically push around 75mbit average which is where this site is peaking! One site pushing 50mbit or more of traffic is a MONSTER.

Good bandwidth isn't cheap... keep buying that FG swag!!

Could you imagine what the graph would be like if we were all women .

Lol........ I just heard in church this sunday, the average man speaks 7000 words a day.
The "AVERAGE" women speaks 35,000.

Max,
Ya'll are doing a great job with the site. I don't think people stop to think about how much goes in to maintaining a site like this. It's better then it ever has been!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Default Re: Sluuuurp!

My wireless connection says that I have an 11 mega bite per second connection. My connection says it is super strong but when ever I try to dounload a video or webpage it only does it at about 45-50 kbps which is much much slower by thousands than the 11mbps. Whats up with that, I have never really understood it?

How do you dounload things faster when your connection says you can?

I just re-set the computer and everything is brand new by the way, no spiware or viruses, I think
