That sucks, but seems it was a matter of time. Our hobby looks like it's becoming the future of wars (or maybe is already there).

Sweetpea, I have to agree with vsnap, that avatar sucks!
It was just a matter of time before someone started using small r/c's for war, terrorism etc. Let's just hope it doesn't affect us who love the sport of r/c. Equipment, parts not being available, prices skyrocketing etc.!!!

The origonal avatar showed just he legs of someone hanging and a kitten hitting them..This one is a tad diffrent

First.......it was time to change the avatar anyways.......I liked it, so that's all that matters.

Next....the article mentioned they were banned because of the possiblity.....not because they actually did it.

So how will they keep people from using RC planes for terrorism? Will they ban weed-eaters, robot servos, all transmitting devices, balsa, polyester, and all forms of adhesive? Anyone can make an RC airplane out of just about anything... this is ridiculous.
