Hi All, What do y'all think about the difference between AFP and AFPD???? I'm not bothered about graphics at all, i just want realism to help me with rolling harriers and torque rolling, coz i just can't seem to get there with the real thing. The length of time between flying sessions is far too long. The difference in price between the two is around 90 GBP (160 USD) which is a lot of money to me right now. Having said that, i don't want to waste money on AFP if it's not up to the job. Remember graphix aint what i'm after. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers guys, Zen |

I used AFP to learn rolling harrier. You don't need AFPD to learn. As for the realism? It doesn't get any more real. I would say start out with right rolling outside rolling harrier ( right roll, left circle ). |

i started with left roll. but i prefer to roll left so i think its more of a personal thing. as for physics between the two i beleive they are identical. i still prefer G3 but still a personal thing i dont want a brand war AGAIN that always happens in these types of threads. but yeah the sim is essential for those things i think. i know i couldnt do RHs without the trusty sim. it took me like 3 hours to get to where i could do them half decently. thats like 15-20 flights, nevermind the recuiild time.
