Hook a brotha up with an Avatar thread!

Hi Y'all!

Avatars... We all love 'em, And they are definately a staple around this place! They reflect our humor, personalities, recent modeling traumas, and are good times. Some are animated, some are personal photos, and others are simply off the hook and snagged from other notorious sites on the net. We gotta have 'em - they suplement our tags.

Knowing that, some of us don't have the know how to slice, dice, or animate images that we would like to adorne our names with. Ergo, the "Hook a brotha up with an avatar thread"!

Sooo... Need help with an avatar? This is the place to get 'em!

I'm willing to help where I can, but I'll need a few volunteers to help me out who understand basic photochopping (paintshop, whatever), and how to create animated .gif files. If you're game and would like to help, we'd be stoked and will make sure to hook you up with some swaggy type stuff for helping our community.

I'm not sure where this is going to go, but let's give it a shot.

I can help out with photoshopping (see the photoshop Beavis and Shulman thread) although I use Macromedia Fireworks the end result is the same. I can animate GIF's too.

I'd have to agree that the best types of avatar have a lil story to them. I tend to get to know people by their avatar.... not good for those that change often

I know that race cars are not airplanes. But I would love to have Kasey's car look like it is coming at you (racing). But please do not let Biff get near my Avatar. I dont want to have to KILL
