Default NEED 8611's (not 8611a)
I have six 8611 servos I'm using on a plane I'm about to start and need one or two more for backup. JR doesn't make them anymore, so I want to have a couple on-hand. Can't toss $600.00 worth of servos.

Don't need any "go Futaba" remarks. Just looking for 8611's. I use Futaba stuff too.

Check EBay Dave. It may even still be up, but a guy has a lot of them on Ebay. New in box. Can I ask a legit question? Does Horizon update the 8611 for free?? Just curious.

They will put a new case top on if yours has the old one that was weak. Or you might get lucky like a friend of mine did (sent in 12 8611's and got back 12 NEW 8611a's). I wasn't so lucky, got back 8611's

send them to horizon and they will update them for free

They don't update them, they just put on a new case top. That's what they did to the six I have.
