Default Throttle curves do you use them?

Do any of you guy's use throttle curves for hovering?

I had to on my Tensor with 3s, so much power that it was hard to manage to keep it perfectly in one position, so I softened it out a little bit. Don't have any throttle curves on other planes though, the power range was pretty much linear already.

Yep, I've used them on 100cc and up, especially with cans.

Couldnt do without it if you want a very linear throttle setup.

To get any servo to act in a linear fashion you need 12% expo anyway otherwise it will always be much too sensitive around the center position.

I use it on everything I have to get the throttle to be positively responsive over the full movement of the stick.

i agree with kiwi...throttle takes WAY more time to sort out for me than any other servo operated part.helps to have a good repetitive servo too
