Badass! 4 out of 5. A day at Triple Tree

Our hobby is about more than we realize. I left the house this morning at 4:30am for Triple Tree to pick up a plane for rebuild. The six hour drive was mind numbing, to say the least.
When I got there though, all five of my senses were revived and I was assaulted by more than what they could handle.

I felt the vibration of a powerful jet as it tore through the air
I smelled the Turbine Juice from across the field
I saw a small electric model that was cabable of 185 mph
I heard it go across the field.....It said: WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
And when it went the other way, It said: WOOOOOOOOoooooooooooowwwwwwww!
Although I did not taste any of the models, I did share my sandwich with a Black Lab.

What a day!

Tank: Yes they are. I think you were the last guy to wrench on this plane. Every time you see a pic of it, the hood is up. It even made the July issue of MA! It has been electrified, gasified, and I even think it was run off of sterno at one time.
