I want a new car

I don't know if I should tell you this. A friend of mine recently was involved in a car accident and was in need of a car. Unfortunately for him his credit is just about as bad as it could possibly be. He went to the local Honda dealer and bought a new civic and a couple of days later they called him and informed him that due to his bad credit they needed him to return the car.

When he got there they had a plan for him to help him get a car and for them to not lose the sale. In order for him to keep the financing with his credit the car had to be significantly more valuable than the loan so the dealership gave him a 2008 Accord with all the extra features for free. So it was basically the Accord for the cost of a Civic with about $5000 in add-ons for free. The car is bad-ass!

And here I am still driving my Civic because my credit rating isn't as bad as his. Is there and justice left in this world? Of course his cell phone is shut off because he didn't pay the bill, so let's see how long he gets to keep the Accord.

Chris, find one that was repo'd or a year old. You'll lose a ton just driving a new one off of the lot.

Hondas go up in value after you drive them off the lot. My friend has a 08 Civic SI that he bought for 22k and now it's worth 24-25k and he's just put 3000 miles on it.... lol

I don't buy American cars because they suck.

Word up to that. The American companies have let quality go the way of the Dodo. Japanese is the way to go if you want something that'll last. It's unfortunate, but I believe it's true.
