Enjoying this hobby with my son

Sounds good Kent, Im kind of doing the same thing, looking back through old pics and stuff and putting things into a story so to speak. Cant wait for you to share with us all.

Definately do it.... I started going to the flying field with my dad when I was 3. Most weekends growing up were spent there. I have learned so much from this hobby and met some really great people over the years.

I took a partial break from the hobby for a few years and got back in big time about 2 years ago.

Great memories for you and your sons. I have mine with my dad, and we still fly together... of course I live in NC and he is in PA, but we still fly when we visit.

I have reached the point where I like to help people get started in the hobby almost as much as flying myself.

My Dad started taking me to the field when I was 18 months old. I started flying RC at 7. I am 34 now and have a 7 year old son. He has a little electric trainer that we fly when he wants to but he is not bitten yet. Maybe someday.

I love going to a Fly Inn out of town walking up to the flight line,six year old son in one hand and 35% plane in the other,start the plane,hand the transmitter to my son and watch him fly.When he land's the plane,I look at the crowd and see amazement on there Faces.Got to Love being a Dad at that time.

Almost forgot,any body that misses the chance to take there son to Youth Master's is missing a great time that you would definitly appreciate.
