Lake Almanor CA. ..Just an "Ol boy" get together "Float fly'n"

For 23 years, I have been going to Lake Almanor with Friends and pilots from all over. Many have passed, and some moved away. The last 10 years, have been just a couple of us, but Still a ton of fun!!.. We have about 5-6 places we can fly off of, so the venue changes daily. We like to hit Carols Cafe in Prattville a couple times during the week for breakfast, then onto Fly'n!! Couple hours there and then back to camp. Some of us go off and do some exploring, others just relax in the shade, and some fish, BIG Brown trout, and then later we might get together for some campfire lies and fish stories. Just a good ol' relaxing time. Last night we meet up at the Red Onion for a nice dinner, http://www.redoniongrill.com/.. I stay at the North campground, but there are tons of places around the lake to make camp. Hope to see ya there.
