hay guys,, quick queston...I am making some parts out of carbon fiber for school, some of them need high mechanical properties and other donīt, so can I used polyester resin for the parts that do no need high mechanical properties???? Im using epoxy for the ones that need it. Any suggestions???? thanks! cheers |

what type of part are you talking about? Could you lay up some CF over foam for the parts that dont need high strength? For the other high stress parts I would make a mold of some kind and use a good epoxy like West Systems.
