Excellent idea ![]() BUT why didn't you come up with that over a year ago, I could have saved myself a ton on a vinyl cutter ![]() ![]()

Here you go, I did this pretty quick. The only thing I found to be a nuisance is if the press and seal gets any windex under it, it will not stick. I had to really wipe down the ultra coat of any sighn of moisture. Also cutting the fine points was really hard because once you start cutting away at the top desighn sheet there is nothing to hold it to the covering underneath anymore so it has a tendency to move. If there were some type of tacky sheet that could be placed on the covering with you desighn printed on it that would be great.

Oh I should mention when doing points always cut toward the point itself. If you spueegee the windex out it should bee stuck to the glass enough to have it not move, that and a fresh razor. Another key point is that on the dragon for the wing I cut that out and left it on the glass for a few days while I finished the wing. BIG mistake !!!! I had to cut out another one because i could not get it off the glass without tearing it. live and learn huh. How well did this work with ultracote??? You know in doing some thinking I might have enough ideas for a round two of monokote 301 Last edited by Lomcevek1; 12-21-2007 at 05:10 AM. |

Wife has been in the hospital for the last few days (It was a planned surgery and she is fine) So progress has halted. Also I am kind of at a loss as to what to do for the fuselage. I thought about a serpent skeleton but it was too busy on the eyes. So i am now thinking of just putting in a bad ass canopy. I have some ideas but it will take a while to come to a final design. Till then my lovely Mrs. takes priority. I cant tell yall how awesome it is that this idea is being so well taken. i love to contribute to the hobby and if this helps then great. |

Here is what I have so far. I Have the canopy left. and I am not sure what to do about the body. i think I will leave it white cause it is approaching that point of being too much. I do appreciate comments or opinions, better yet ideas !!!! |
