Ok.. dumb question, is that regular covering? Or the kind with the adhesive back?

| Do you think you could put multiple layers of different colours before cutting and just peel the layers at certain points to get the colour you want to make this multicoloured

Totally, the only drawback doing it that way is it a tougher cut and the added expense of the colors you dont end up using translates to waste, and you also may risk a tear. for my multi colors i print off a couple of the same design and cut what i need from each(color) separately. and then layer them acordingly

That is correct you can stack a few layers and cut through them all to make PERFECT edge joints. there is a fair amount of waste but do what you can to minimize. The Blue wing is what i did for that one. Each one of those seams are edged together. That will be covered in the second video. So here is what i found for the canopy. I am still wondering if I should make this with blue eyes or just leave it the way it is. |

Question? I have an absolute horrible internet connection so could you guys go over the basics in a written format for those of us who cannot access the video. Some of the designs look incredible. I've made my own decals so to speak from monokote by heating them to glass but not sure of what your talking about when it comes to the windex.

This video is really worth a thousand words. It would be worth it to go to the library, a friends house, or if really need be I'll burn a copy, and if that does not work Send me a PM and I will give you a link to where you can download it.

now if i could only figure out a way to get my plotter to cut covering instead of vinyl it would make up for my total lack of having the patience or steady hand to do the kind of work you have shown us here. thanks for the ideas though.
