| High Desert Hucker ![]() | Im putting my shop together to build GS aerobatic airplanes. My question is about Digital incidence meters. I am looking at everything from the AeroPerfect system (accurate to .01 deg.) at $239.00, to the basic digital protractors that can be had for woodworking (good for .1 degree accuracy) at $35.00 and up. I DO NOT want to compromize, but I do not want to unnecessarily blow money. What would you guys advise?

| Super Anal Perfectionist !! ![]() | The Aeroperfect system is great.. I have one and really like it. However, I also have several homemade setups that cant be beat for setting incidence. I bought a Robart meter and pitched the dial meter and installed a angle bracket and mounted a digital unit from sears. I can post pics tonight Sears item# 00948295000 Mfr. model# 48295 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...=digital+level

| Lesebergs pit bitch ![]() | I been using the Aeroperfect since they first came out and I will not use nothing else for setting up wing and stab incidence.

| High Desert Hucker ![]() | I will probably go with the AeroPerfect because that is just how I am about perfection. Have some ideas about marrying it up to some Laser equipment for some applications too. Hopefully I'll get my Off Road assets sold and this all sorted out as I hope to be starting into my first official build thread before the year is out....... And, Yes, it will be another Dalton build (hopefully 2)

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Please post your results with the Aero Perfect set up you eventually wind up with. I have the AeroPerfect and use it alot. It is on the heavy side for some things, but I like it. Do any of you other AeroPerfect users have a hard time getting the reading to sit still? By that I mean that when I'm taking a reading, it seems TOO sensitive at times. The numbers jump around, and it's hard to see what the reading actually is. Thanks Bob
