Have you considered the Wild Hare Sukhoi? $499 with plenty of wing area to carry that G62.

Out of the three and please excuse me having no knowledge of dawghouse but it looks a nice plane i would go QQ any day, firstly it goes together no bother at all, secondly it will float all day long. Hangar 9 well thats had some bad reports and to be fair of all the hangar 9 planes ive seen and owned they have all had issues like twisted ailerons and poor uc's, fact not fiction.

The wildhare ive seen one reviewed on downonthedek and it flew real nice (good pilot) a nice cheap plane and looks good quality. But i would go QQ or Aeroworks if i wanted to get in the air quick. Iam sure that all the replies you have recieved would agree at the end of the day its your choice, some people have issues with one plane then another flyer has a great one, we all get a dud from time to time.

Go QQ or whatever takes youre fancy and enjoy

Mark

Lower cost than the competition, not cheap in any way.

Wild Hare planes are now all "fast build". Pre hinged, canopy pre-installed and trimmed, engine mounting templates align with firewall mark, all blind nuts pre-installed. The cowl is pre-mounted on a cowl ring. The only glue needed is to finish installing the rudder hinges which are half done when delivered. Everything else is done with nuts bolts and screws.

Nothing out there is easier to complete unless it's coming ready to fly.

And yes, we have good deals for fellow Texans.

Same problem here.I have a beautiful 30% Pirate extra 300 in a Patty Wagstaff theme. This airplane was built in the 90's before 3d was popular. This was built for IMAC,not 3d.I also considered trying to lighten it,but that would take an almost total rebuild and could destroy it,not to mention loosing all the graphics which would break my heart as this is the closest looking airplane to Patty's BF Goodrich scheme I have seen.Solution?Fly precision with her and a 3d designed plane.

Not to offend Wildhare fans, cheap in UK means low price not poor quality. Just wanting to clear any misunderstandings up.

It would be a great update to hear which plane you decided on and good luck and have much enjoyment.

regards

All,

Thank you for all the info, opinions and knowledge. Since I'm able to purchase the Hanger 9 at a $200 discount, NIB, and a company like Hanger 9 will probably not discontinue this plane for sometime so I can purchase replacement parts. I've decided to get it.
