Can sombody help me with a question. I have a QQ yak 102' gen2. Can i put generation 1 wings on my gen 2 fuse? Will they bolt right up and fit and work with no mods. What are the differences. Thank you.

Thanks Seth, i appreciate it. Bought a gen 2 from M Mclean, Cody's dad. He threw in an extra used fuse, that a few others previously owned, I found a new set of gen 1 wings for it if they will fit. Add a cowl and a stab set and i will have a plane to give to one of the local kids in my club. I figure WTF, christmas is coming so ill spread the freebies around. I Besides im getting a deal on the wings. Hey seth or anyone, did the gen 1 wing fix just require some extra glue etc or did they need to be sent in to QQ or ??? Thanks for your help. Thanks to all in advance for the advise. Scott.

The fix can definitely be done by yourself. You just need to find it. It's been a while! I believe a search on RCU might bring up something.

If any one has a decent used cowl and stab/elevator set for sale or donation it would be appreciated. So far: 1 used QQ fuse w/rudder, canopy and gear- free donated by Mike Mclean, thanks mike. 1 new wing set-$200.00. I got that one. 1 cowl ? 1 stab/elev set ? 1 very suprised and worthy youngster with a gleam in his eye and a smile on his face christmas morning----- PRICELESS!!!!! Do you know anyone deserving this holiday season? Do it!! |
