Default Carbon Fiber Throttle Control rod?

Would installing a carbon fiber control rod for the throttle create interference? I currently have the Sullivan Goldenrod installed. Im looking to put something in a little more rigid and I have some carbon fiber leftover after i installed the same stuff on the other control surfaces.

Ive heard that a metal one will create some type of interference.

I've used carbon fiber rods on two of my planes for the throttle.
As long as you don't have any CF to metal contact you should be cool.
I epoxied a bit of 4/40 rod onto the end of the CF rod, and then used a rocket city ball link to attach it to the throttle arm.. since the end is plastic it works out fine.

I've got the same set up as Sleepy with about an 8 inch CF rod. Works fine!

Central Hobbies offers carbon push rod kits that are uber bad ass. I used them on all of my throttles without issues.

Yeah tank, thats where i got my carbon fiber from. I was really impressed with the way it fit together with the titanium ends.

Excellent. The fit and finish is perfect. Plus the lightweight titanium ends are a big plus. Im running them as throttle pushrods on my 37.5% Yak, 35% Panzl, 35% Extra, and 27% Ultimate. All have been working flawlessly.
