Guys, I got to meet Manuel in person. What a great guy. I feel terrible for what happened, but I will say he had me hooting and hollering loudly during his routine.

Even during the after hours show he was quite the entertainer.

I arrived on Friday therefore I did not see him compete. By all accounts he is a great pilot and builder. My comments relate to his behaviour after what had to be a major dissapointment. Manuel, you demonstrated to everyone that you are a gentleman. You may or may not remember me but I was very impressed with the way you handled the entire unfortunate turn of events. Sir, you are a gentleman with class.

Yo llegué el viernes por lo tanto no lo ví competir. Todos los comentarios coinciden en que es un gran piloto y constructor. Mis comentarios se relacionan a su comportamiento despues de lo que seguramente fué algo muy desgradable. Manuel, tu demonstraste que eres un caballero. No se si te acuerdas de mi pero me impresionó como reacionaste frente a la desafortunada decisión de los jueces. Señor, usted es in caballero con clase. Si bien tu representaste orgullosamente a Mexico, en estas tierras nos ven a todos como un grupo homogeneo de latinoamericanos. En relación a eso, este latinoamericano te agradece lo que hiciste y como lo hiciste.

Manuel, Hey man you flew awesome, and were a total blast to hang out with. Your flight was amazing and i loved every second of it. We talked a lot about this, but Hey... things happen.. You had fun, everyone watching had Fun, thats all that matters. You left your mark. Hey man, i'll see you at the XFC, and maybe we can hook up and fly together for fun. I've never been to Mexico before.. it sounds fun, lol. take care.

Manuel! My new friend, it was a true pleasure meeting you! One of the most memorable parts of my trip was watching you fly in the lobby on Friday evening. Absolutely funny material, you are a comic genious! To all of our friends from Mex, it is an honor to have you - Manuel felt right at home knowing you guys were all watching. Elisa - your words were a great inspiration for Manuel at the event too. I don't know what else to say, but THANKS Manuel, keep huckin', and I can't wait until the next time we get together!

No habia tenido oportunidad de hacer un post, pero mas vale tarde que nunca , solo te digo que estamos orgullosos de ti, tu trabajo es excelente desde que estabas en la lista de pilotos del E-TOC, te admiro por tus logros, y a veces las cosas no son justas, pero de esto vendran una serie de logros para ti, lo sabemos por que eres un gran piloto. Felicidades por tu vuelo y que la decision de otras personas no bloqueen tu trayectoria, si no al contrario. espero verte en el VUELA 2006.
