Tiny Post 3: Flight Day

Well today started out with rain and wind as you can see from the pictures. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to fly today but after a while things cleared right up and everything started looking very promising.

After work I brought Tiny out to the Radio Control Club of Detroit and showed him off a little bit. Everyone was very interested in what Tiny was and where he's been and whatnot.

The flight itself was uneventful; a little out of trim but not bad. You definitely gotta keep the speed up or else tip stalls become very frequent. Tomorrow I plan on finishing the repair on the crate and then Tiny should be off to the next stop by Tuesday morning.

Willie, Dave Novelly (He says hello), a couple other newer club guys. I was preoccupied at the time with helping some guys get their controllers programmed, but my dad a good job of explaining Tiny to the group of people interested in it.

Man I just read it and was a little confused at first cuz I thought they were talking about Tiny, but it didn't look like Tiny

Here is a story for you all. Another plane making the rounds like tiny, made it to the Frederick, Maryland area and was being flown on it's stop here. The people making the flight had a "fly away" and the plane is gone. The last I heard they had a 100 dollar reward out for the plane if it was found. I think it was the same plane as the one in the AMA article but I am not 100% sure. I was not at the field that day, as I was in another area. It would have been a sight to see.

Scotty!!! What's up dude? Good to see Tiny in the hands of pro, she was lookin' a little tattered ever since Tank broke her nose trying to hover again. Nice work!! My math may be off, but I think Tiny's having her 1st birthday in a few days. Not too shabby. Good job guys! GO TINY~!!~!~!
