Here's just a little more information on the motor.... You're not seeing it in the photos, but it's actually rear cooled. The boys installed a cooling system on it earlier in the week making baffling not necessary from what I am being told. Check out Hirth's website. These are ultralight engines: http://www.recpower.com/f302c11.htm Again, from what I am being told, the motor has already been broken in and bench tested with well over 10 gallons through her. An externally mounted electric starter will keep the pit biotches hand away from the prop as well. All cool stuff fo sho and we wish 'em luck!. Now, let me get this straight. A 50% Hemple edge uses 240cc's up the front and this thing being about 70% is using 1000ish cc's up the front................. are you guys sure you got enough power?  Hope thats good quality balsa!!  Well done anyway, looks awsome. |

Don't see the mufflers installed in the pics. Would love to see a pic of that with the Cowl installed. Good luck on the maiden. We are all in amazment of your achievment. P |

What in the schzzill! That thing is a beast! Does it have a smoke system?  What servos? How many receivers? What kind of batteries?

That scheme looks Amazing. Whos the test pilot gonna be?-Not sure if id like that job, Balls of steel to get that thing dod in a hover. Would be a nightmare if the engine overheated in the prophang. Ive had a few gassers splutter during dod hucking and it meant the plane lost most of its thrust momentarily? Resulting in a tail-first Huck-down. Ive been lucky but ive seen others mangle their pride n joy with the same misfortune? Check me out Arnt I A BUNDLE OF POSITIVES??

Hmmm. How about a seat and a tx tray in front and connect it to rx with dsc cable and let Justin fly it?  This thing is awesome. When is the projected maiden date? |
