Huckfestin' In Houston! See Ya'll There!

The final stop on the looooong FlyingGiants Huckfest Series is coming this weekend! Folks from all around will be traveling to Bomber Field in outside of Houston for a weekend of fun and good times with our Houston Crew! Tony Dee AKA YNOT has put together a pretty cool venue completely in line with the juju that we've all come to enjoy, and we're all gettin' fired up! If your in the area, pack your stuff and come on out! We'll be sending off the 2007 flying season with a bang! Stay tuned right here to FG for all the action from the flightline! Special thanks to the Bomber Field crew, and of course, to YNOT Productions for putting this gig together! See you all there!

Wow, kinda quiet on this thread considering the event is going on this weekend. All I want to know is will there be peanut butter sandwiches eaten there?

here they come! Folks, the weather out here in Houston is awesome, and the Huckfest is going great! This is my first trip and fly-in that I've attended in Texas, and I gotta tell ya, some of the coolest and friendliest people in the planet exist in this part of the country! This HF is smaller than some of the other stops, but there is a very cool vibe in the air, and the currently 40 registered pilots are having a ball! All day long there have been at least 3-5 planes in the air simultaneously, and everyone is smiles as usual!

Bomber Field is a venue that I've seen only in magazines for years, and to be here is something to be cherished. The facility out here is second to none, and is complete with a massive hangar packed full of amazing warbirds, a small town, where get this, the RC tank battle crew blasts each other up on, and... My absolute favorite, and something again that I've only heard about but witnessed first hand -- SCALE NAVAL BATTLES! These guys are absolutely AMAZING! Imagine scale RC boats complete with LIVE AMMO in form of 150psi launched full automatic pachinco ball cannons! WHOA! They actually sink each other! Bomber is a playground like no other, and BB and the local club out here have done a ton of work to make this event a blast!
