Really, I don't know yet. There is a good chance that the first shipment of planes could be sold out by the time they get here (mid-March), as there are only 5 planes left un-sold. Because of the cost involved and the amount of planes that need to be ordered I may wait until the end of the year for the next one is ordered. It will all be based on interest of the plane. If people want them, I will order them.

I am sure after the Joe Nall and everyone gets to see them up close and flying-evryone will buy one and I can quite my full time job! and produce these planes full time. Wow, what a life!

A second container could be here as soon as August-September 08.

I have 40 hours in a real one myself- and it was a kick to watch you throwing that thing around! I once flew one 120 miles in a 40 MPH crosswind... Barf-O-rama!

So I have to ask-

Does it have the signature CUB side door?

Awesome! I hope I'm lucky enough to see one of these in person!

Thanks! I'm just asking because I like it, but I can't afford it right now. I'm doing senior year of college right now, so maybe during the summer I'll be able to, so an august-sept delivery would be nice.

Yes, the side door of the Cub opens. The window portion does not open though .

For the second container of planes, I will try to have China redesign the area to have the window operational. This would definatly look better.

Spoke yesterday with China and they are now on their "Holiday vacation" for their 'New Year Celibration'. Work will resume in about 2 weeks. The Cubs are all framed and now ready for covering . Everything is looking good.

I've tried watching the video on 3 different computers and have downloaded Quicktime twice...for those who had issues watching the video how did you get it to work? When I click on the link to the gallery I get some sound, but no image. Has anyone converted it to something like .wmv?

At the beginning it took a long time to download, try give it some time, maybe it's downloading, after getting sound and no picture I clicked on the blank picture and I saw the video and if that doesn't work go buy a $5000 computer, I guarantee you will be able to watch it.

Latest update!

China is under a terrible winter storm and it is causing a lot of problems. There are a lot of displaced people and roaming power outages. It makes me grateful that we live in such a great country that we really dont worry too much about the gov. turning our power off.

Anyway, there are ONLY (4) J-3 Cub Planes Left! If you know someone who is thinking about it you may want to inform them that time is running out.

China has sent me confrimation/pictures of the 57 changes I made to the prototype plane, WOW, this is going to be a GREAT plane. I may have to sell my prototype plane just to get the new one with all the different changes!

I will keep you posted on the progress and avialability of the planes. Thank you all for your interest in this new plane. I am already thinking of the next "Secret Project". The new "Secret Project's Prototype" could be here and on display at the TAS 2008! We'll see!
