50% CUB BY BILL HEMPEL (NEW VIDEO)

All Cubs are sold out! Maybe, if I am lucky I will start a new list for the next container. Hopefully the people at the NAll will enjoy what they see and order one. I will probabbly order a new container full of Cubs around the NAll time frame. It normally takes 90 days from order to shipment. Hmmm.... I will also order a few 'standard' wing' Cubs for those who keep bugging me! Maybe a 'super cub' or two also!

Ok, the status: Container should/will ship next week. All Cubs are complete and are being packaged. The International orders will ship next week too. Mr. Hodder, your Extra will hopefully ship next week. They are finishing the covering right now.

Here is a picture to wet your appetite. Look closley to see what you guys are getting! There are 2 people packaging these planes. Can you find them? Do you understand how big these are now?

Uh, yeah... I was going to come by and pick up the Extra. But it was cold today. Sorry.

I was at the Hobby Barn pre-loading the toy hauler for the trip to the Nall. It looks like I will have an MD-11, 50% Edge, 50% Cub and there may be enough room to bring the double wammy (twin dyna-jet plane) OR the Euro-sport.

Anyway, I cant bring the 52% Weeks or the 50% Extra. Not enough room.

I will try to come by and get the plane. IS it a problem leaving it there a few more days?

I have contacted Gerhard also about ordering me a 34X14 Fuchs 3-blade without the holes for the 342. I think it may work for us. I will keep you posted.

Hi Mike,

I am sorry I did not get back with you. THe company I had making props has turned out to be a bad experience for me. The propellers were fine but the guy has some serious health issues. He is now appearently in the hospital. The props I have already paid for should be shipped within 3 weeks I am told. Because these props are paid for, I will wait until I get them before he gets the "your fired" notice.

I have a new propeller manufactuer and I have NEW 2-blade and 3-blade props coming. These propellers will be the same size as what I have being made with the original propeller company. The new company has a much better finish on the props but cost me about 20% more to produce.

Bottom line, I got screwed and I am in the process of fixing the issue. I will have props but not soon enough. I believe the prop you ordered through AI should work. As soon as I get mine in stock, I will let everyone know!

I am truely sorry for this un-profesional delay.

I have 6 new 2008 scheme Extra 260's. 3 of them are pre-sold. I will take one for myself to replace the one I am flying now. There are only 2 avialable at this time.

Hi Bill!

Do you know the size of the box? I'll have to pick mine up in Oslo, and that's 375 miles from home. Don't want to do that drive twice because I bring a too small trailer the first time.

I remember you saying earlier in the thread that you use 1.5" airwild servoarms on all surfaces, but what do you use for the rudder pull-pull? And what should the drop be on the headers when using a 3W 157/170 amd canisters?
