Shipment Information! The container full of airplanes will ship on Apr 8, 2008. I am really sorry for this delay in shipment but sometimes these things happen. There was a small issue with the final assembly of the wing struts that delayed to shipment (waiting for vendors). As it is the Cubs will not come with the cotter pins for the cowling. I will have to supply these seperatley along with the bungee cords for the landing gears. Here in the US, these items are easy to find so it will not be an issue for me to send these out. International Customers:Cub and Extra orders were sent out yesterday and tracking information should follow soon via e-mail. The planes will be in customers hands starting next week. Hopefully I can get a few of them to post pictures here for all to see. The container will take between 18 - 25 days to transit the Pacific Ocean. For the Joe Nall people looking to have these planes.... we'll it could still happen. Lets just hope the trip accross the water is 18 days! US Customs and transit time to Arizona will probably take another 3-7 days. I could possibly be sending planes from Arizona as soon as the end of April or first part of May. Hmmm..... BH |

Hi Bill, Do you have the specs (drop, run) for the headers for a 3W 170xi on the CUB? Can it take tuned pipes, or should we use canisters? (noise restrictions). Do you also supply int. customers with the cotter pins for cowling and bungee cord for landing gear seperatly? The Cub looks huge on the pics...can't even imagine what a Super Cub would look like ![]() Gr Wim |

The canister area has been reduced in size from the prototype version, you will need to run canisters and not full length pipes. I will supply the cotter pins and all the bungees needed for the plane. I will get on those starting tomorrow. I do not have the diameter of the cotter pin 'post' that stick out of the cowling though, I need this so we can also include rubber washers for the cowling before the cotter pin is placed in it. The super cub will be the same as what you get but with a wing that is 32" longer. Oh yeah, it will have FLAPS too and the standard 'preasure' cowling. Bill Hempel | ||||||||||||||||||
