Have joined team JR, DSM9 ordered yesterday will put in small planes first then try and figure out best instalation on my qq yak. RD921 or AR9000. Was going to wait till next year but i really wanted 2048 res and hopefully no more glitches, nearly lost plane to glitching problems a few days ago, and that was the decision maker. Will still be keeping my futaba though I really like my t9cp, foamies and fun fly.

I'm on the 12X list at Don's Hobby Shop. I have several planes that may get the first RX to try out the 12X.

TDD aka Bobby

P.S. I'm just really sure the 12X will make me go from Sportsman's class to Unlimited Class overnight!!!!

I switched about a year ago and have not looked back have not had a problem and I am glad I did it when I did. Just finished up installing a AR9100 in my first 40% Carden 330s and I have full confidence it will work as well as the other 4 airplanes and Heli I have 2.4 ghz in.

Hey EN1, what channels did you use for what? Did you use Hitec programmable servos? How did you set up the multichannel/slots in the receiver?

I am really happy with my DX-7 for over a year now. I will be adding a JR 9303 2.4 and a 9100 reciever later this year.

You can probably go back to my old posts and see where I was against switching. But I saw the new 12x 2.4 and just had to have it. I have had it for 3 weeks now and still havent put in the plane yet. Its still sitting in my room in the box. Maybe one day I'll crack down and put it in. Still havent made the jump but getting awfully close.

Well I finally put the 12x in the plane AT the Chattanooga event two weeks ago. I am using my H9 260 as the test plane for the 12x I have just to make sure I am happy with it and if for whatever reason it fails or something goes wrong, I dont crash my brand new 40% Carden. If I crash the 260, its a little easier to just go in the shop and buy a new one. I probably wont have any problems at all but I just feel a lot better trying it out in the 260 than my Carden. First flight went very well! Trimmed the plane out and plopped it right down on the ground into a hover right in my face. One thing I did like was not having to worry about moving the antenna out of the way when the airplane would get close and another was the non ratchetting of the throttle stick. It was a lot easier to "hit" that perfect spot to keep the plane from having one notch climbing the plane out and the other notch having the plane fall. I also liked how you didnt have to really do a lot of mixing to program the plane. All there was were a couple of clicks and the radio kinda figured it out itself. Pretty sweet. So far I'm happy with it.

Already have a DX-7. But I needed another receiver 7 channel and looked on the Horizon
site. Found that they cut the price on the Futaba modules. $109.00 with a AR7000. So now
I'm 100% on 2.4.. basically I got a 2.4 module for 10 bucks and a 99.00 receiver
