I guess I get to be a straggler as well. We should be rolling in Wed. morning early just in time to get a nap after the 12 hour drive following us leaving work. I can't wait! My first Nall experience! Oh and Max? Hope you got your crawfish appetite set high for Wednesday evening. I'm picking up a couple sacks Tuesday before I hit the interstate. Should have enough for you to get full, get some beers in you, then have some to snack on the rest of the night. So Wednesday morning, see ya'll at the Nall!!!

Anyone keeping track of the number of flyers coming in at the new runway? Maybe FG will post some pictures tomorrow or Wednesday. I’m coming in with a group any where from Wednesday morning to mid afternoon. Just wonder how far back in boonies I will have to park my trailer. I’m thinking the majority of the 500 pilots pre registered are on the main runway. It might have been interesting to have the question “which runway do you plan on using” on the registration form. I plan on being on the second runway. I’m guessing that the 2.4 GHz requirement will keep the second runway to about 1/3 of the total pilots. One person in our group is flying the main runway due to him not changing to 2.4. GHz. It seems that he will have a pretty good walk between the two runways. I have an extra 2.4 system, and can convert him in a couple of hours, if it becomes a real problem .

I hope to see a lot of St. Louis friends there, we will be staying in the Comfort Inn up by the highway, and of course will be on the second runway - where ever we can fit.

The weather looks good for wed. Thur. Fri. are iffy.

You guys have fun out there... I wont be making it this year as I have gotten promoted @ work. Its a bit tougher for a junior guy to take days off when he just got promoted. I'll see you next year !! Have fun, and may the sun come out, and terra firma be elusive.

I have almost no fear of putting a plane up while it's raining. the chances of a midair is greatly diminished. .
