HA! For all you folks who are watching this in internetland, MAKE YOUR PLANS NOW for 2009! We've been having a blast out here like never before, and with the new setup at TripleTree, modeling heaven somehow or another just got better! Thursday evening brought rain, although the party went on until the wee hours across Mr. Pat's property. The Karaoke action never stopped, and the lower flight line (downstairs Huckfest) was awesome! On Friday, the day started with good times at both flightlines while the weather began kicking up some wind - no drama, more planes than the entire week were in the air, and some killer flying was on display. A Sopwith Camel or possibly a Bristol was shooting paint balls out of a hot gun on her schnoz, the awesome Beaver (zip it) was on static, Bud Nosen 310 Cessna was standing tall, as well as straight up thousands of other planes on display. The noontime demos brought killer flights by Hemple Cub, QQ, Jesky, and the German 3D Jet Crew which you saw last year for the first time here on FG. This time around, there were two jets hovering feet - I mean 2 feet - above the grass. Simply amazing seeing these guys every year, and the skills and unique style they bring. Vector thrust is the poop. You guys gotta see this for real! And check this! Our good friend Andy Kane from Composite ARF won the Joe Nall Memorial Trophy!! Congrats Andy!! This was a very cool moment for sure! When the flights were done, the weary pilots made there way to Mr. Pat's BBQ, and everyone retired the evening in true Joe Nall style with brews flowing, and excellent camaradery. This was by far the best JN yet, and I can't believe it keeps getting better and better. POST YER SHOTS IF YOU GOT EM!!! More tomorrow! Best-- Max Duncan

Man today was a hoot with 30 mph winds and Bill the Man Himple flying a J3 50% On a 3w157 like it was a big foamy. Tons of pix to follow for the guys that did not make it. Meet with the Mad man Max and talked for a bit and that was a pleasure as always. So all the way from Fairtuky Ohio and for the Waco Barnstomers hope you guys like the pix I have a ton and this will take a few to get them on here so here comes the flood and there is no pun on the one guys. For those of you who keep asking about the Float Fly with the 50% edge and some infomus guy that has the word Snap in front well it did take a small dip but was not all that bad. She will live again knowing him. So enjoy the pix and Max thanks for the talk. Huck on guys!!! ![]() Like Max said make it next year!!!

Man I just got back and I am wiped out! It was great putting a lot of faces to names down there, every one had big old smiles on their faces! I'm looking forward to sorting through about two and half hours worth of video, I'll throw something together and post it up for those who missed out. Roll on 'Nall 09!

I was there today and man was it something as Maxx has said. You know being almost 53 years old here and I have only been back in the hobby for about two years I told the wife when I came home this evening that next year will be the year that I fly at the Joe Nall, something I've always dreamed of doing, of course only in my wildest dreams could I even come close to some of the flying I saw today!
