The STL Huckfest has the distinction of being the first Huckfest to earn the distinguished award of being categorized as a "HUCKTACULAR!" Yesterday all the stops were pulled, all the planes were beaten within an inch of their lives (Some a bit past, see pic!), and possibly the greatest day of 3D flying Ever took place. The STL boys raised the bar with this Huckfest, and its going to be hard to beat for a very long time. There was tons of planes in the air at all times, the field was perfect, the day was beautiful, over 85 pilots were in attendance on Saturday, and around 300+ spectators. Then on an adjacent private property well away from spectators, take a couple of 40%'s mix in a gnarley amount of LARGE rockets and roman candles, sprinkle it with two aggressive fun fly planes, and you get one of the most memorable events in RC history. The Snap A Saurus plane, the Yellow Edge that started it all ,ATE another plane, and IS STILL IN ONE PIECE!! IT WAS AMAZING. The entire weekend was run very smoothly, and safety was maintained. The members of the Orchard Farms RC club were amazing. Due to the flooding of the original field, this hard working club only had a little over a week to get the field in shape for this event. And the field is beautiful, probably one of the nicest I have ever been to. SO a big thanks goes out to them GREAT JOB GUYS! This event truly brought Giants from all over the country together, we hand Giants from California, Ohio, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, Illinois and a few more states I can't think of right now! It was awesome to put so many faces to screen names! I can't wait to do this again in 4 weeks!! (Snap, get ready buddy!!) We have over 3 hours of video to edit, and I've uploaded a ton more pictures to the STL Picture gallery here: http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...y.php?cat=1008 Once again, Hats off to all the STL Giants, and especially Mark Trent, Jason "Fast Ford" Cohen, Bryan Zang you guys organizied one heck of a show. And thanks to all the sponsors, you guys help keep this series going! Alright, back to the field for a brief session, say goodbye, and then a 9+ hour ride home! BAD ASS!!

Wow.... This years Huck fest was BAD ASS triple times Again. Hats off to Orchard Farms R/C Club and all the hard work that was done to Make the event Go so well. Jeff & Christy Biers. Mark Trent and Jason Cohen And to many others to Mention. Field is just AWESOME nothing to hit anywhere but Dirt as only a few did. Today is Sunday and heading back to the field LATE... Sat. night was a late night with a quick pour down of rain after the fireworks display,Fire works as always are cool with a fresh drink and a day of flying in the 20 MPH plus winds. My fun Meter was pegged for sure. I think I come home singing instead of and old song (Baby What I say) was changed to ( Baby one Eye say) driving home. ![]() As always Keep em Flying Wanted to post a couple good shots of last nightbut not being able to enter management attachmentd at this time.
