Jumping on a plane right now, will have the Snapahuckfest wrapup ready when I hit the deck, along with a very cool perspective on a very interesting aspect of this event. I'll tell ya this - the party last night was by far the most epic moments in FlyingGiants history. Today was a complete fog, but the flightline was still going!! Pre-wrapup thoughts - Elie totally outdid himself on this one - this one was totally off the hook! Talk to ya soon -- MD

In all honesty, I did not expect this event to be as successful, I will speak the basics only, Max and Sleepy will handle the rest, I want to thank the FlyingGiants crew that helped me make it happen, Thanks also to those who traveled far and made this event a success, also a big thanks to our sponsors, AMA district 1, was on hand with district 1 VP Andy Argenio and his group, his demo flight was a shocker. The big shocker was the AMA president Dave Matheson representing the AMA which we all as AMA members appreciated his presence among us. It maybe few days before I fully recover.

Thanks for an awesome weekend guys. Something groundbreaking happened (besides a certain prodigy kicking Bravo in the nuts), but that's for Max to explain. And holy ****, who thought Andy could fly like that? And that he liked the Beastie Boys?

It was a great day! I heard all the stories about the event and especially what a night they all had too. Too bad I missed it. But I had a good excuse! I was taking care of my sick Dad. But he finally got better and flew back home yesterday evening. So I came as quick as I could! I flew and had a great time! Elie you looked so tired. I know you were. What a great event! I came in on the tail end and had a blast! Elie you know how to hold an event! This will be talked about all winter! LOL! I snapped a few photos... Later: T H E K L O W N

Well, got back alittle earlier this evening and I rested some from the long drive. 1456 miles driven all this trip and the event was worth every mile. The new friends I met and the flying that was done will all be remembered fondly. I am a donut eater and with all those Dunkin Donuts we came across even had me not wanting anymore. Man....I may never eat another one. Going to the field on Thur, me and Sleepy found out the the roads are not marked very well. I will have aGarmin next time I go to that part of the country, but we found it after 2 hrs and we were still laughing about the riding around in circles. The flying was great the first 2 days, and I was sorry that it was cut short by the weather. The Cap after doing a great effort and successfull tail dunk into the pool, then to have it all change so quick. It was a shame for all those that had problems, but they were all still smiling. You all are great sports. Hope you all bounce back. Snap.....Thanks for hold a fun event and having the great entertainment. I enjoyed it. What can I say about Max.....He is Max. Good seeing you again, buddy. Well anyone that has not made a huckfest yet, should try. You can have a good time with fellow FG members.

Just got up from a little nap to try to make up for the lost sleep this weekend. All I can say is that this event was OFF THE HOOK! Elie went to great lengths to make this event as successful as it was, and I dont think I would be wrong if I said that everyone had an unbelievable time. As for the after-hours event at Elie's house... no doubt an epic event to go down in the pages of history of FG! From the entertainment to the aileron whippings (sorry Bravo) I really don't think it can be topped! Thanks everyone for a great time! It was definetly awsome to see everyone again, almost like a mini-Joe Nall! Looking forward to Huckfest Ohio!!!!!!

Great event guys! After hours at Elies was for the record books. Great food/beer I got to meet all the guys Madmax, Snap, SleepyC, Jonny Bravo, kitman, and others. After hours hucking was awsome. Need some TLC on the Trex450 and Fliton needs some packing tape and some solacaine burn cream.

Everyone talks about events and how great of a time they always have, I have been to a few myself. However since I have started hanging to the FG Crew events have never been the same. One of my close friends went with me this time and it was his first big event. On the way home Friday he was beside himself with the way everyone got along and was able to fly and have a good time. I spent the time to introduce him to the "Gods of the Flying Giants" (Max, Joe, Greg, Steve, John, and my HERO ELIE which he already knew). I told him if he thought Friday was good wait for Saturday to get into full swing, especially once the group could get together and enjoy a few wobbly pops . I have spoke with him several times today and he continues to tell me how great it is that I have such a large group of individuals to be involved with. I had to explain to him Flying Giants isn't just a group of individuals but a family of friends. So for those of you that always seem to come up with an excuse why you are unable to attend a Flying Giants event, next time you need to come up with an excuse for the wife and work. All the individuals (especially Elie) involved in making this weekend possible need to stand up and take a bow. This was definitely one for the Flying Giants record books.
