BoneDoc, I use blue painters tape for everything from marking CG positions on the side of the fuse, to attaching some temporary weight, to keeping the cabane pins in place, to holding down the receiver antennas... It's my proverbial duct tape

Well... still no word on JAS. Comp Arf has a new plane out designed by Bryan Hebert called the Valiant. Not sure if JAS has time to switch over and get comfortable with the plane. He is being very quiet on his intentions which is understandable since it is the Worlds. Speculation runs wild right now amongst pattern flyers but many new designs are emerging with the Valiant (Comp Arf) and the lead on the Shark from OXAI .. also a Bryan Hebert Design. Word is that he will likely not be flying it in Portugal, but anything is possible. Price is supposed to be around $1,700 for white, $2,000 with colors.

I have been watching this thread since it started. I am really proud of the generous donations made by my Flying Giants brothers is support of our F3A World Championship Team. I have met all but one of our team members at one time or another. Each one of them is a great guy, and putting out 100% effort in this endeavor, in both effort, and financial commitment. Although I donated early in the fundraising effort at last year's TAS, I have just doubled my donation in support of the FG community. This being the final few days of the donation drive, I want to encourage everyone to make at least a small donation to close this thing out. Go Team USA! |

I agree Steve...I'll be adding to my donations again tonight or tomorrow morning, just feeling the need to add a little more on the final stretch. Thanks again to all of the members that threw some in the pot, to those that haven't, don't wait too long, were almost out of time.
