Default 2009 ATL Extreme Flight Huckfest is GO!

Ok , all you Southern boys get ready. The 2009 Huck-tober Extreme Flight Huckfest is ON!

Chris Hinson and the whole Extreme Flight crew are ready to throw down like only they can.
So pack up the birds, fill up the gas cans and head on out to the ATL Huckfest!

This is what Chris wants you to know about this awesome event!

On October 23-25 2009, Extreme Flight R/C in cooperation with the Flying Giants website will host The Hotlanta Hucktoberfest 3D Fly-in.

The event will take place at the Georgia Model Aviator's field in Ballground, GA approximately 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta. This event will consist of 3 days devoted to 3D flying, fellowship and camaraderie. Top 3D pilots from all over the U.S. have committed to attending and we hope you will consider joining us for what promises to be a world class event. The GMA field will close to general flying on Friday October 24th at noon and the event will last until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Come on out and see the latest in high performance aerobatic aircraft technology, check out the set-ups on these aircraft, talk with some of the top pilots in the nation, and fly, fly, fly!!!
Pilot registration will begin at noon on Friday. Registration fee is $25.00. Proof of AMA membership required. Thousands of dollars in merchandise will be raffled off over the course of the event.

The GMA field is located at 8250 Old Federal Rd in Ballground, GA 30107. If driving into the Atlanta area from US HWY 85 or 75, take the 285 bypass and exit on GA 400 north toward Cumming, GA. Take a left on 369 (the first traffic light you will encounter on GA 400) and travel approximately 8.5 miles. Make a right onto Old Federal Rd and you will see the flying field on your right in approximately ¾ of a mile.

Below is a list of area hotels. These hotels are approximately 12 miles form the GMA field. Camping is allowed on-site and encouraged!, but no hook-ups are available.

Looking forward to coming the ATL for the final huckfest of the year. I want to thank eveyone who come to the huckfest events and a big shout out for all the flying giants staff that have made the Huckfest series possible.

We are planning on bringing a new 3.2m Extra with me to test fly down there, so I am excited about that.

Also JTEC will be offering some show specials as we have done with all the huckfests we have been to. I will post them later when I have some more free time (I should probably be paying attention to my Professor right now).

I was going to start driver's training this last month, but got sick instead. :-( I won't be able to get my license 'till next year anyway. Winter's here, and driving is on a wing and a prayer. I'm always plowing the road, or pulling neighbors out with the tractor. lol
Sorry I can't make it. As far as getting a 110, if I can't win a raffle, I'll just have to save. ;-) Have fun guys!

I've also got a new freestyle that I'm working on, as well as practicing IMAC for the contest next month. That has to be done, and if I was down there, I don't think that I would want to practice IMAC. LOL Just kidding.
