the .75 will fly the plane fine. Wont have ballistic vertical, but it will be enough I think. Mine with a ST90 hauled arse, so the .75 will be just fine. PS. this is a .70 size airframe. This is what happened to mine when the ST flamed out in a low hover.. ![]() and

Come on John; you don't put a slab together for it to be just fine, you do a slab to be "off the hook". If it has to be a 2 stroke I wouldn't go any smaller then a 91FX, the 120 would be "lookoutkids". I'll tell ya one thing, that 75 would never be probro approved.......................................... ........................ Tom |

The question wasnt whats the best engine for this plane, it was "I have a .75, will it be enough." To get a 'bro' flying, you better believe its enough. When you can afford it get a .90 2 stroke, or a 100 4 stroke.

I would probably put a Saito 180 or at the minumum a OS 160 on it. That should make it come to life.

Was flying my Kat 70 with a MVVS 90 2 stroke. Never managed more than a 5 minute flight before the engine would cut ! Did any of you have problems with engine vibration, causing bubbles in the tank, causing the engine to cut ?

I tried a YS110 on mine and I could never get my YS110 to run right on the airframe due to how thin the airframe is. I switched the YS to my Fusion and the YS ran perfect. I put a OS 91 2 stroke on mine and it did great!
