| Embry-Riddle R/C Flight Team    |  Katana v2 70 with YS Engine
Does anyone have this setup??? Katana 70 with a YS engine to power her. I am getting this set-up for christmas. Also what are some good servos for this plane. I cant wait to fly her. The 46 size is so sweet cant wait for the 70.

Well I got the airplane in. Just waiting for the YS110 motor. Will start putting her together next week.

That'll be an awesome setup. I flew mine today with a SuperTigre 90 in it, performance with mine is great, more than enough power to do anything, and hovers at about half throttle. The YS will smoke the ST for about the same weight, I'm sure yours will be awesome.

The landing gear that comes with it is trash. no matter how soft you land, it bends out/back, and my plane is only 6lbs RTF, so it's not heavy. Do yourself a favor and either make a new gear from aluminum, or order a set of tetherite gear from OMP. I'm waiting on my Tetherite to arrive, the stock setup sucks.

I took mine up for the first time Sunday.... OS 90 AX 14x4 APC hovering it in close after three trimming passes its the most solid hovering plane and boy does that sucker pull some verticle out of hover at even 3/4 throttle  !!! Im Addicted !!!

 .the stock fuel tank only gave me a 6min flight,so i got a tank that was 100cc largerAs for the gear i used the tetherite the first time,they where to flexable for me and the 16x4 so the second plane i used the stock wire gear with the tetherie together ........Doug

i currently switched engines and put a OS 91 four stroke and it does just as well. you can tell it is a 70 size though! flies a lot slower than the 46.
