I'm looking at possibly getting this plane for my dad and younger bro to fly. They can both fly the trainer fairly well but still working on landing a little bit. I've heard that profiles tuned down a bit can be pretty docile, so would this be a good choice as a plane for them to work with slowly at first but be able to grow with? Thanks |

Although it would probably be OK. I would consider the OMP edge 540 arf or the Swany's House Mojo 40 kit better 2nd planes. They are both very tough and with the rates turned down and CG set forward they make great sport flying 2nd planes. They when your Bro and Dad are ready, shift the CG and turn up the rates for 3d training time!

How do you guys think this will perform with the .55AX OS motor compared to the saito 82? What prop would you recommend? Thanks LB |

A 55ax should out pull a saito 82 but I am not sure on the prop. Jeff

Ah good to know then! I don`t have to buy a new motor to get mental performance! I ll try around props though, maybe a 13x4w prop. I don`t know will try what works best for me in that range. Thanks for the tip! LB |
