I put all 5245's in my original Chinn Yak... They work fine for the rons & elevator, but don't have enough guts to last on rudder... First they develop some serious slop, then stop working all together...

The HS5245 has always gotten mixed reviews... YMMV...

What 2.4 system are you talking about. I run Spektrum's @ 4.8 without any problems on my shank. I'm running all high torque digital servos, gyro, governor, etc. and it will pull a lot more power than a profile. I have never had a brown out on it.

That cool....I love my DX7. I lost a plane cause of the 4.8v, so I will be running 6v from here on out. 871

Got to fly mine last week for the first time. Great flying plane but my new Saito was very thirsty and I had a lot of deadsticks. This thing even deadsticks well....
All and all it flies great and can do most manuvers very well.

For those using Saito 82, do you experience oil coming out from the front of the engine?

I got an Evo 46. Would this work alright in this thing power wise? Also would Futaba S3004 Servos w/ Torque: 44 oz-in (3.2 kg-cm) at 4.8V work?
57 oz-in (4.1 kg-cm) at 6.0V
I also got the JR X9303. What RX packs are guys using? Is it safer to go w/ 6.0V?
Thanks

Ben, all the prototypes were flown with 3004's on 6v, so you should be fine with a setup like that.

Motorwise, I'm not familiar with the Evo .46, so I can't say. I have flown CY's on OS .46, .50sx's and .55 AXs, all with Macs tuned muffler. TT46 with macs tuned muffler, I've also flown it with the Saito .72 and .82, as well as the YS .63. There are even a few with Saito .91's floating around. It flies well on all I've listed (though I think those with the big saito .91 are a bit heavy).

Fly Hard!!!

A prop to consider on the os ax 55 would be the 12.25x3.75 apc. Its all i use on that motor with a 4 and half pound profile. Excellent for all out 3d and throttle responce. With the tower can muffler this thing is a rocket for the price.

My 2 cents

If you honestly did not receive them with the model I'm sure that EF would help you out in this situation.
