Thank's for the quick reply. I will go with the 125. Lighter is better and in some cases cheaper.

To be completly honest Reza, I centered the engine on the firewall without looking at the marks for the YS or OS. But if I remember correctly they matched with the OS. The mount is covering the marks now but the YS was way off. I will investigate later to come up with a solution for you guys. I side mounted my Saito.

I cant see the marks for either YS or OS sorry.
Adam
The best way would be to center the mount(bolted to the engine)on the firewall and drill it

Does anyone know of a place in Canada that has these in stock? I would really like to get one for my Power 110 e-setup but the shipping from the US is prohibative.

Check with Mark at CRC products.

Also I need to show this airplane. I have already done this conversion. I will have to show this on a different thread. Please remind me if you don't mind on Friday. I will have to take pics and show a video too.

It's a great combo.

Mark doesn't have them... I may go for it anyway but the shipping is hard to swallow at $120 (I know that is nothing to do with QQAC - it's just what it costs.)

I have been running my 110 in a Showtime 90 on 8s 4270mah packs. 18x12E prop gives 5 to 9 mins depending on wind and how hard I flew it. Weight was around 10lbs, performance was ballistic. 17x12E and 18x10E give considerably more flight time but less performance. The Showtime was destroyed last week when a servo gear failed and the wing and right side ripped apart after flutter. So I need a new home (once the speedo is repaired that is - luckily the battery survived.)

Pictures and comments would be great Reza! I'm interested to see the battery placement, what motor mount you used etc.

Hello Reza,
I'm about to purchase a 69" and would like to ask your opinion on engine choice. O.S. Max 120 AX, Saito 125 or YS 120. I watched your videos but would really like to hear your personal opinion.

Vaccari.

Hello Vaccari,

Thank you for considering our 69". Both are great engines for this plane. If you are more of a 3D pilot, I think YS 1.10 is a better choice. I like the mid range torque. Sport flying and mild 3D, OS 1.20 is excellent. I personally like the YS 1.10 because it gives me more of a gas engine feel.

Thank you,
Reza

Thanks Reza, I made some research and found the YS the best choice also.
The engine you used was the YS FZ 110 S?
It's the only 110 I found (centralhobbies.com)

When are you planning to fly in Brazil?
It would be great.

Vaccari.
