| I knocked a horse out once. ![]() | Thanks Dar! What did I like most about the Futaba XFC? Good friends having a relaxed contest that was very well organized. Thanks to all who made the contest so much fun. Big D was a riot! Thanks also to all the companies who gave SO MUCH for the raffles. Dar could you post all of them?

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I would like to throw in my 2 cents! This was my 4th time to the XFC and it was my first time as a competitor. Jason Danhakl came in and gave me a crash course on tuesday and wednesday before the contest and at that time I had an awakening. I know a lot of guys who can huck it on the deck and be very impressive, but try to put it together in a flowing entertaining sequence to music and couple it with a few hard required manuevers. I was so impressed with the level of proffesionalism and talent that I met while at the XFC. But even with all the talent behind the sticks, I think the toughest job is held by the judges. I applaud their judgement skill. They were not swayed by the crowd, but judged fairly by the criteria that was established before the event. I at one time thought XFC meant hard core 3D on the deck. I didn't understand what true Extreme Flight was. What I saw this weekend was much more difficult than a rolling harrier inches off the runway or a scraping knife edge pass at mach 10. I have a whole new respect for the process as well as all of the peple who are involved in putting on an event such as this. Secondly, I was very impressed at how FUN this event was. Even with all the competition that was going on there were seas of smiles and lots of comraderie with all of the contestants and the crowd. Congratulations to all that were involved in making this contest such a success.

| uber has-been. | Hi Guys!!! Made it back today, and Mark is totally correct. I have a pile of events that I've been to this year, and have seen some excellent 3D flying, and such, but the XFC is on a totally different level.. Normally I'm the guy complaining at the TAS, and similar IMAC events that the freestyle portion doesn’t come fast enough. I gotta tell you, from the second I hit the field on Friday through the moment we left yesterday, it was all freestyle 3D non-stop, 8 hours a day. The level of adrenaline, excitement, and the precision elements were simply nuts. I was hoping to get a break to see some sweet IMAC flying, but it never came Bottom line -- XFC rocks. I also have a totally new respect for the shank huckers.. We'll be seeing more of them soon. The Futaba/GP crew definitely outdid themselves, and everyone in that org has a great attitude. Hats off to 'em, we need more events like this. Be sure to check out the photo flood in the big events gallery. I came back with about 20 tapes for a forthcoming DVD, I'll have some stuff up tonight.
