The only defamation I've seen on here was brought about by the person or business by their poor treatment or dishonest/shady dealings with fellow modellers. I think you will find that 99% of the information on this site falls into the classification of information sharing to support and further the sport. The other 1% is simply people warning others of their experience with certain persons and businesses connected with the sport that are not providing the service or honest business relations we all enjoy. Personally I'm glad they let us know. I don't care to give my hard earned money to some crook or a company that isn't going to give me a good product and good service. If by sharing their experiences you feel they are bashing people you may like perhaps you should contact those people and ask them if the information is true and, if so, to change their ways. No point in shooting the messenger. At any rate, I'm sure this is not the thread to discuss this. As far as hearing from me you do not have to read a single word any particular member writes so you have the answer to that in your own hands.

Jack, I'm struggling to see the difference between your so called bashing, and what you are doing right now, against our community. Ask me how much fun I have with this place with a big boiling pot of internet **** stew is dropped in my family room. However - we always learn from our mistakes, and we're dudes just like yourself trying to make sure everyone gets along in our little community here. I've been taught through life to respect my elders, and I will sincerely take your advice and make sure our staff shares your concern and vision.

IMHO- I think you and the fellow members do a great job at moderating themselves. There will always be "issues". Sometimes perceived only by a few -and yet ignored by others. Sometimes confirmed by the masses - and well that is dealt with - deleted- rather maturely - again IMHO.

I was impressed with the RESTRAINED anger shown here by the members toward the non-responsive supplier - now publicly known to accept future payments even after other customers were being hung out to dry.
Internet forums are building a better market place by adding some "electron sunshine" on their dealings (ya won't hide mis-dealings ever again) I'm glad to be able to read about it and determine for myself what to do with the information. (Hope I'm never in the spotlight - but even if- I know I will have a fair forum to set my side of the record straight.

I'd suggest we all use our independent freedom of choice before you get all irretrievable bent up.
This is without a doubt a first class community and even a first class outfit will carry the fringes as members-
I can B a true case in point in my own unique way!
EVERYONE will have a minor issue around here sooner or later. How you deal with it will determine your level of happiness.

My understanding about the use of the "Lame button" is for when the thread subject is regarding mounting an engine and you start going on about the Antarctic flying destinations.

Hello Max It occured to me to go back and read the rules for posting, and after reading all the rules, it also occured to me that, the bashing of Bobby Wilson, whom by the way, I have had little dealings with. I have ordered some parts from him, and was treated withn respect, and the parts were shipped as agreed. He is not a friend of mine, never met the man. The way I interpreted the rules, this four page blast was not the intent of this fine site. This was all I was trying to understand, I certainly did not want to point a finger at anyone. I am sorry, to everyone, if my words were out of line. By the way, where is the spell checker located?
